Found October 07, 2013 on Celtics Life:
With the pre-season officially upon us, we here at CelticsLife thought it would be fun to dish out some pre-season award predictions for the Celtics. We came up with eight awards (four positive, four not-so-positive), and will be giving out writer predictions on each of them over the next week or so. These awards will be named after Celtics greats (and not-so-greats), and hopefully we can have some fun with this. We'll also be posting a poll for everyone to vote on, and be sure to add your two cents in the comment section. Our first award is pretty straightforward — The Paul Pierce award for Team MVP Mike Dyer (Follow Mike - Mike_Dyer13) Jeff Green - Rajon Rondo is the best player on the Celtics, no one could possibly disagree with that statement. But he's not healthy, and even if he comes back full strength in mid-December he stands to miss 20-25 games this year. Green on the other hand is somewhat of an iron man (not counting his freak heart issue, Green has average...

Rondo speaks about Doc, KG,and Pierce

Brothers part from time to time, but they usually come together again. They'll never play on the court in the same uniforms ever again, but a brotherly bond can be unbreakable. Metta World Peace Says Paul Pierce Is Best Trash-Talker in NBA, Calls Former Celtic ‘Just So Tough’

It looks like Kevin Garnett wasn’t the only Celtic from the new “Big Three” era who could talk some noise. In a typically entertaining Q&A with the New York Post, Metta World Peace names Paul Pierce as the best trash-talker in the NBA. That is something of a surprise, given that the 15-year veteran has never been known for yapping as much as teammates like Garnett and Antoine...

Gif: Jeff Green jumps over D.J. Augustin and blocks his shot into oblivion

Jeff Green did not have a very good game last night, scoring only 6 points on 2-7 shooting in 23 minutes. He also commented after the game that "the asshole mentality was coming" but wasn't there yet. However, Green did have one highlight, this block of D.J. Augustin where he leaped over the Raptors point guard and for a brief moment basically rested his balls on Augustin...

Are Rajon Rondo's days in Boston over once he is healthy?

As far as predictions go, this is a lot less bold than saying Michael Jordan will come back for one game. Still, this one is notable for including absolutely no hedging. Most of the talk involving Rajon Rondo and the Celtics this season centers around the team’s supposed need to trade the 27-year-old point guard if it is truly dedicated to rebuilding. Once Rondo returns from his...
