The Majors Detroit:
San Antonio Spurs
After dropping three straight heading into the weekend the Pistons capped off an impressive 24 hours with a 105-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday night from the Bradley Center. This of course comes after a dominating performance against the league leading San Antonio Spurs Friday night from the Palace.
Detroit used three separate double-doubles to help propel themselves to victory including a huge Charlie Villanueva three pointer with 9.7 seconds to go in the fourth.
Aside from the second game in as many nights and learning that rookie center Andre Drummond would be lost for 4-6 weeks with a fractured tailbone Friday, the Pistons certainly could’ve rolled over against the Bucks.
That didn’t happen.
Jose Calderon is continuing to show the benefits of the Tayshaun Prince deal as he lead Detroit with 23 points and 10 assists including a late layup to tie things up with Milwaukee.

Charlie Villanueva is taking advantage of Andre Drummond's injury (out four to six weeks with a fractured tailbone). Charlie V. lit up the Milwaukee Bucks with 18 points (7-13 FG), knocking down four 3-pointers in the Pistons' 105-100 win.
Villanueva made it a double-double with 13 rebounds, and added an assist and a block in 25 minutes. Another productive outing for...

A versatile combo forward out of UConn, Villanueva was brought north of the border to join budding superstar Chris Bosh in a promising frontcourt for the future. Though Charlie got off to a pretty solid start averaging 13 points per game on 46% from the floor and 33% from downtown...

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks are clearly a frustrated group.
Charlie Villanueva's go-ahead 3-pointer with 9.7 seconds left gave Detroit a 105-100 victory Saturday, sending the Bucks to their third straight defeat and fifth loss in six games.
The ever-so-important three-game stretch of home games before the All-Star break began on a sour note, leaving the Bucks just one...

Brandon Jennings, who scored 26 points, took an inbounds pass from Monta Ellis and made a tough fadeaway shot with 47.8 seconds left, but Jose Calderon, who tied his season high...
