After dropping three straight heading into the weekend the Pistons capped off an impressive 24 hours with a 105-100 win over the Milwaukee Bucks Saturday night from the Bradley Center. This of course comes after a dominating performance against the league leading San Antonio Spurs Friday night from the Palace.
Detroit used three separate double-doubles to help propel themselves to victory including a huge Charlie Villanueva three pointer with 9.7 seconds to go in the fourth.
Aside from the second game in as many nights and learning that rookie center Andre Drummond would be lost for 4-6 weeks with a fractured tailbone Friday, the Pistons certainly could’ve rolled over against the Bucks.
That didn’t happen.
Jose Calderon is continuing to show the benefits of the Tayshaun Prince deal as he lead Detroit with 23 points and 10 assists including a late layup to tie things up with Milwaukee.
