Quinn, a 6-foot-2 point guard, has played in 193 career NBA games with the Miami Heat and New Jersey Nets while averaging 5.2 points, 2.1 assists and hitting 39 percent of his 3-point shots. The addition of Quinn comes on the same day that the 76ers were involved in a trade that sent primary back-up guard Willie Green and Jason Smith to the New Orleans Hornets for forwards Craig Brackins and Darius Songaila, leaving the Sixers rotation in need of a true back-up point guard to fill-in behind Jrue Holiday. In Quinn, the 76ers are getting a steady but unspectacular back-up point guard who rarely turns the ball over and is able to shoot from beyond the arc -- a skill-set in high contrast to the player currently slated to back-up ...
