PLAYA VISTA, Calif. Clippers point guard Chris Paul says hes going to be fine, but coach Vinny Del Negro probably will take a cautious approach in dealing with the left knee injury Paul sustained Saturday night.
Paul banged his knee into Keith Bogans of the Brooklyn Nets while setting a screen during the Clippers 101-95 victory at Staples Center. His knee was wrapped in ice, but he returned later and scored 29 points, including 17 in the fourth period.
I should be all right, Paul said after practice Monday. I hope so.
The Clippers play four road games in five nights beginning Tuesday in Dallas.
Paul didnt participate in practice, and Del Negro said he and guard Chauncey Billups, who missed the past two games with a strained groin, will be game-time decisions.
Asked about Pauls availability, Del Negro said, I think hell be able to play. Is he going to play and have a setback? How effective is he going to be? I know hes pretty sore today. If he doesnt play tomorrow night, hopefully hell be ready for New Orleans (on Wednesday). I just dont want him to play half speed out there and have a setback.
I feel hell be out there, I just dont know how much and how sore hell be.

Jada Paul, Chris Paul’s wife, was on Instagram straight flexin’ recently, showing off her husband’s ridiculously massive sneaker collection, and it’s a sneakerhead’s dream. CP3′s wall to wall collection is so large, a customized walk-in closet was insufficient. Instead, Paul transformed an entire bedroom in the couple’s home into the ultimate...

Post game, Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul posed for a photo with friend, actor Columbus Short and his son rocking a fly $1495 Saint Laurent leather-sleeve varsity jacket. Chris Paul’s wife provided this picture on her Instagram of just a portion of his shoe stock which is so huge that they needed an entire bedroom to make all those Jordans fit. I think Paul has more shoes right now than I’ve had in my entire life.
Chris Paul willed the Los Angeles Clippers to victory Saturday night with an incredibly difficult clutch shot. Up 2 over the Brooklyn Nets, Chris Paul took Deron Williams off the dribble, drew contact and while falling away, fumbled the ball into a double-clutch shot that somehow dropped, plus the foul to seal the win. Serenaded by MVP chants, CP3 drained the extra point and finished...
Chris Paul turned a bedroom of his house into a museum specifically for his shoes, and it is glorious.

Gerald Wallace scored 13 points in the third quarter, probably his best quarter of play the whole season. Even with his great effort, the Nets didn't have enough last night to overcome a Clippers team that puts up points in quick bunches

Point Guard Wars: This game between the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers were close for the most part, until Chris Paul decided to go into God mode in the fourth quarter, scoring 11 of his total 29 points (and 11 assists) in the final two minutes to carry his team over the Nets. The last time the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Hornets on the road, they weren't even located in New Orleans.
The suddenly surging Hornets would like to keep it that way.
After opening a four-game trip with another road defeat, the Clippers look to avoid a 10th straight road loss to the Hornets on Wednesday night.
Los Angeles (48-23) hasn't managed to beat the Hornets...
LOS ANGELES -- The Clippers didn't play a perfect game Saturday night against the Brooklyn Nets, but as coach Vinny Del Negro said afterward, "We played probably the best in the biggest moments."
Sometimes that's all it takes.
