Some good stuff from KG hating to Paul Pierce's old man game that was killing them. Of course there are the Tommy haters. Funny that they hate on Tommy for being a homer, but when I watch other teams' announcers it seems that they are just as much homers, as they should be. And of course they hate on their own players... Al, Mo, Foye. Enjoy today's CFTOS. The Celtics don’t really feel like a team to fear anymore. Jazz lose by 25 in quadruple overtime, and end with 4 players on the floor because the rest foul out. Imma start this thread off With how much I dislike Kevin Garnett now. Back in his Wolves days I really liked him as a player and a person but seems ever since he was traded to beantown it seems hes become a wannabe tough guy/thug. Here’s hoping he keeps his antics in check so my blood pressure can stay at a reasonable (as reasonable as the Jazz will let it be) level. It's like if you put LeBron and Wade's egos into one person, ad...

Celtics Locker Room Video: Paul Pierce likes what he sees from his bench.

The Celtics held on strong to beat the Utah Jazz by a score of 98 – 93. Even though Paul Pierce ended the game with a team-high 23 points, it was the bench’s 47 points that lifted the Celtics past their foe. Leandro Barbosa was a huge part of those 47 points, scoring 16 points [...]

Enemy Chatter: Avery Johnson was afraid of another Paul Pierce pull-up 3

We often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics. Here’s a look at some enemy chatter from Brooklyn. “Did you see Paul Pierce hit that pull-up 3-pointer (with 24 seconds left to get them within two)?” Johnson asked reporters. “I had in my mind that he was probably gonna do it again, so I played the foul game. It’s a coaching...

Johnson tired of KG calling out plays

Nets head coach Avery Johnson recently expressed his frustration about how Celtics veteran forward Kevin Garnett is always calling out his team's plays on the floor.

Kevin Garnett can predict your plays before they happen

Avery Johnson hates when Garnett calls Johnson's plays before they happen. Understandable. We missed this yesterday, which is a shame, but Avery Johnson had some very complimentary things to say about Kevin Garnett before the game. These quotes come courtesy of Mike Mazzeo at ESPN New York:“The funny thing is, I wish he would be quiet on the floor and not call out your plays...

Rondo-to-KG: The mirror-image alley oops that held off Chicago

The Celtics were cold in the 4th quarter.  If they weren’t dunking the ball, that ball wasn’t going through the hoop. Lucky for the Celtics, pulled off two plays that got them the high-percentage shots they needed at crucial times.  Actually… it was the same play… just run on opposite sides of the floor. Here’s the first one: The play really happens at the :13 mark with...

Celtics Locker Room Report: Jeff Green is Finally Being an A-Hole

Kevin Garnett whips a cross-court pass to Jeff Green in the weak-side corner. Green gives a slight up-fake and takes off down the lane. Now it’s time to go all-in or get shut down. Let’s go all in. Green has Al Jefferson directly in front of him with Paul Millsap and Derrick Favors surrounding him. [...]

Comments from the Other Side - Nets 11/16

Two things are certain from the comments. Nets fans hate Courtney Lee. They don't like having more Celtics fans at their games than Nets fans. And, they couldn't deny the fact that they caught several breaks from the refs. They also realize that they lucked out with Rondo's absence. Enjoy today's Comments... No Rondo. Celtics playing the second half of a...

Taking Stock: Celtics – Bulls

After every game, we’ll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player’s overall value. Starters Offense:  20 points on a very efficient 10-16 shooting.  He hit 5 of 6 shots at the rim, and 5 of 8 from everywhere else inside the 3-point line.  A few of his turnovers were sloppy, but a few of his passes were spectacular. Defense:  He played the passing lanes...

Jeff Green’s Dunk Sparks ‘Explicit’ Reaction From Kevin Garnett as Forward Sheds ‘Lackadaisical’ Effort (Video)

BOSTON — Anyone who claims that a dunk is only worth two points has never been in the building when a player delivered a true facial to a helpless defender. Jeff Green produced just such a highlight-reel dunk on Wednesday, when the reserve forward bulled into the lane, elevated over Al Jefferson and slammed the ball home over the reeling Utah Jazz center. The TD Garden crowd erupted...

Here are some key points that made the Celtics receive their third consecutive victory...

Green Envy: What Jazz fans said - 11/14

A great win for the Celtics. Obviously, Jazz fans weren't very pleased. Mostly their hate was directed at their own players - specifically one Mo Williams. Williams started going into hero mode at the end of the game, only problem is he's not LeBron James or Kobe Bryant. Or like, Paul Pierce even. That plan didn't turn out so well for Utah. Top three: 1. I think if we...
