Found November 19, 2012 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
The Celtics did their best last night to give these poor Pistons fans something to cheer about.  However, they were so busy waiting for a collapse that they couldn't enjoy it.   And what's a CFTOS without a wheelchair mention and complaints about the refs.  Although, they do admit that they got their share of the calls too.  Enjoy today's Comments.... We can only hope the Celtics are extremely tired... Hey, remember when we could've had Ray Allen and Rondo for Stuckey and Rip? Boston probably is happy Joe denied it now! I already feel bad because I am finding myself rooting for the tank already Hopefully this game is over by 9:00PM! Lol...the way this season has gone it will be over by 7:45 These are the very rare Lawrence Franks....eating 1 out of every 9 will make you feel like a winner... I definitely think the Celtics will be tired and surely the Pistons will want to make up for losing last game so I think we have a chance. Ugh I just cannot stand Garnett and his mouth. Just to get it over with early: KG is a twerp. Lmao Celtics annoucers: Maxiell is in a contract year and coincidentally has been averaging good stats They know whats up We are awful Prince needs to GO! KG playing decent, but man he has really lost a step. Why do the refs not see KG smacking Max in the stomach? The Celtics sure like shoving people around Man, I love watching Rondo play. I have a feeling kg is gonna hit drummond TRADE RODNEY STUCKEY. I HATE RODNEY STUCKEY Rodney Stuckey is an idiot. How do you explain not getting into a D1 school???????????????????????????? Drummond is getting killed by these refs, that block was so clean. **** these fouls, I hate the refs For the love of atheist god, please win this game. If you can somehow humiliate KG along the way, that would be stellar. We get to watch Sullinger for a minute Good times 3rd or 4th quarter collapse? I’m betting 3rd. Just got a glimpse of the crowd at the game. Must be at least 1 thousand people there. They need to start selling the good seats for as cheap as the cheap seats. No wonder CV is smiling. He's earning $1,791,111.10 per minute. If BOS was still the favorite in the East, we might have a chance at the Finals, lol. For whatever reason we match up well with them. Boston is really overrated Imo. Wow Celtics are playing like **** Celtics look awful Everything is shaping up For another 4th quarter collapse. Count it. I would love to have Rondo on the Pistons, but in reference to his MVP talk, he’s dreaming. It’s not happening while some guy called Lebron exists. KG doing great at flopping What happened to the NBA cracking down on that? Anybody think it’s weird that When Kevin Garnett started his career, Andre Drummond was 2? Listening to the Celtics feed they are just crying buckets about how the ref is unfair it’s great Celtics feed has been hilarious all night. And by hilarious I mean terrible, but entertaining because the pistons are winning. These call for KG are such BS Haha, Celtics commentators are hating on Mason They said they weren't sure if the fans back home could hear the Pistons public announcer. And at the start of the game they said something along the lines of how the Palace used to have one of the loudest crowds in the league, but now they just have the loudest PA. Like to see how loud the garden is when garnett and pierce retire Jerebko just got beat off the dribble by Sullinger............ Embarrassing. We're actually getting calls vs. Boston, that was definitely a block on Max. Rondo's 10+ assist streak about to be Broken! Love pierce's game, minus the wheel chair Pierce limps off the court every game and then makes his heroic return.  Every game.  He ought to buy stock in wheelchairs.   Sullinger is a really good player. he's going to be a double double machine I really wanted to end that streak. I can't stand Rondo. Kind of odd to see the Celtics seem more concerned about Rondos streak than they were about winning the game today Only Celtics I like are Bradley, Green, and Bass. Sully is better than a 21st pick that’s for sure This one might be kind of cheating What with Frank knowing their playbook and all. [Discuss on CG Forums!]

Rookie Round-Up: Joseph and Melo Move to Maine

The Celtics faced a tough schedule over the last week playing five games in seven days. There were some highs and lows for the team that ultimately ended up finishing the week just above five-hundred at 6-5 on the season. A lot of news came from our rookies this past week as Sully continues to contribute in the rotation while Fab and Kris moved to the Maine Red Claws. In this Rookie...

Pierce’s ankle will be ‘all right’ with a few days rest

CSNNE "It's a little sore," said Pierce, who had just 13 points on 5-for-13 shooting. "I turned it on one of the last plays of the game. But I think it'll be all right, a couple days rest." Paul Pierce has always been a warrior, playing through plenty of injuries in his career. With the Celtics off until Wednesday when they play the Spurs, it should...

Report: Darko Milicic May Leave The Boston Celtics To Care For His Mother

Boston Celtics Center Darko Milicic has played a grand total of 5 minutes in the team’s 11 games (and those minutes came Opening Night), but it seems as if he may not play another minute for the team in the 2012-2013 season. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Milicic, who did not accompany [...]

Report: Darko considering leaving C’s

Darko Milicic is leaning toward leaving the Boston Celtics for season and returning to Europe to be with ill mother, league sources tell Y! — Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) November 19, 2012 Darko was not with the team last night for personal reasons, and it appears those personal reasons have to do with the health of his mother. First and foremost, we want to wish Darko and...

Rondo Continues Streak but C's Lose to Pistons 103-83

Once again, it took Rondo until the final minute of the game to get his 10th assist, but thanks to Jared Sullinger, Rondo's streak of games with 10 or more assists continues. He is now just 3 games away from John Stockton's record. Doc kept Rondo in the game in the final minutes, even though it was a blow out, to get his 9th and 10 assists. It wasn't that he wasn&...

Pistons beat Celtics for first home victory

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Greg Monroe had 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Detroit Pistons to their first home win of the season, 103-83 over the Boston Celtics on Sunday night. The Pistons (2-9) had blown double-digit leads in each of their first three home games, but were never seriously threatened by Boston down the stretch. The Celtics, playing their fourth game in five...

Pistons Weekly: Entering the win column

It was a banner week for the Detroit Pistons compared to the first couple of weeks. After losing their first eight games, the Pistons won not only their first of the season but their second as well. It was close but no cigar in the Pistons' second matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who were playing their fourth game in five nights. Russell Westbrook had 33 points and...

Rajon Rondo, Celtics Take Championship Odds to First True Test Against Oklahoma City

Unable to truly grab traction at the start of the 2012-13 campaign, the Boston Celtics will get an early-season test against the reigning Western Conference champion, the Oklahoma City Thunder, on Friday. Although the veterans of Beantown have lost a handful of games they probably shouldn’t have, they aren’t ruled out as contenders on the NBA futures. With 25-1 odds of winning...

Did Rajon Rondo Really Have 20 Assists On Saturday?

Before I get into this, allow me to clarify that this post is not being made to criticize Rajon Rondo.  My intent is to question the suspect manner in which NBA scorekeepers count assists.  In the following video, which has been provided by the NBA’s official Youtube channel, you will see each and every one of the 20 assists Rondo was credited for in Saturday afternoon’s matinee...

Bye Bye, Darko

It looks like Darko Milicic will be leaving the Celtics and heading back to Europe, according to Doc Rivers’ quotes from the Dennis and Callahan radio show this morning.  While I think this has little to no effect on the team from a basketball perspective, it’s kind of sad from a fan perspective.  It was fun to hope for the reincarnation of one of the biggest draft busts...

Pistons 103, Celtics 83

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Greg Monroe had 20 points and 13 rebounds as the Detroit Pistons won for just the second time this season, 103-83, over the Boston Celtics at The Palace of Auburn Hills on Sunday. Jason Maxiell contributed 15 points for the Pistons, who had six double-figure scorers, while Kyle Singler and Rodney Stuckey had 14 apiece. Rajon Rondo had 12 points and 10...
