The peace was disturbed at the home of Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace, the man formerly known as Ron Artest, early Tuesday morning. Ironic, eh?According to the Los Angeles Times, police were summoned to his residence after actors in a movie he is producing started running around the condo complex with guns. They were apparently rehearsing a scene for the upcoming Artest Media Group film, which is about life on the streets. The guns turned out to be just props and were completely fake. However, that was unbeknownst to Artest and the police for a short while, which caused a bit of mayhem.Artest was initially asleep and awoke to a barrage of questions."I'm in my underwear and my son says, 'Hey dad, there's police at the door,' said Artest""I'm like, 'What happened?' I don't know what's going on at this point. 'What happened, what happened?' And then the police was like, 'The building is being taken over by guys downstairs.'"The police arrived and immediately handcuffed the three actors and the director of the movie. Artest's younger brother, Isaiah, heard the commotion and decided to head downstairs to see what was wrong. He ended up in handcuffs too after he failed to bring identification. So, the men explained the bizarre situation and the police went to Metta World Peace for confirmation.Artest confessed that he had spent the evening watching "Zero Dark Thirty" and thought that he was dreaming. He even offered a hand to the police if they needed it."'Is there a terrorist in the building? Do y'all need my help?'"Eventually, the story checked out with police and the group shared a good laugh. But police called the incident "irresponsible" and then went on their way.Meanwhile, peace was finally restored at the World Peace household by dawn.Via Los Angeles Times
