Brewer
I must say that I was hoping to land Corey Brewer and seeing him in Silver and Black but as we knew the Spurs would not have the money and when the Mavericks were said to be in play, they truly were going to be the heavy favorites in landing the athletic swingman.
Brewer whom was bought out by the New York Knicks had numerous teams interested in him. According to Dallas Coach Rick Carlisle, many teams offered more money to him.
Carlisle said other teams offered more money than the Mavericks, who sources told ESPN.com’s Marc Stein will sign Brewer to a deal worth between $7 million and $8 million over three years.
With Tony Parker going down I was hoping that a move would be made in trying to acquire Brewer, it didn’t happen and we will go on.
