Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is happy to have Lamar Odom on his team and doesn't seem to have any problems with the 6-11 forward and his celebrity wife bringing their reality TV show to Dallas. In a recent interview with ExtraTV.com, Cuban told host Mario Lopez that he isn't worried about reality TV cameras following around Odom and his wife Khloe Kardashian. "We keep really busy and Lamar's a professional," Cuban said. "He's been doing it a long time. When he was with the Lakers they won back-to-back championships. They fell short against a better team last year, but I think he'll be fine. It won't be a problem." Asked if it will bring more exposure for the Mavs, Cuban responded: "Well, I care about winning more than anything else, so we'll see what happens." Cuban called Odom a "creative" player that is "great in the locker room" and a talent that the owner just couldn't pass up on when the opportunity presented itself. "We didn't even know he was available," Cuban said while explaining how the deal went down. "He's a great player, so you always want a player like that. Literally, the deal went down, start to finish, in maybe three to four hours. We had no idea it was going to happen." Cuban also took some time to welcome Kardashian and her family to Dallas and explain why the couple will enjoy their new home city. "You know, we had a team meeting, and we all decided that Khloe is the official favorite Kardashian of the Dallas Mavericks," Cuban said. "She's welcome with open arms. We can't wait to have the whole family, well, can't wait to have Khloe and Lamar, we'll go from there." He added: "Dallas is a great town. She's going to love it. It's got great energy and great fun. The Mavs really make a point for all the players, when we trade for somebody, when we bring somebody in, to really work with the families to make them feel comfortable, with kids and everything else that goes on. "We really want to help them get used to the city as quickly as possible so that Lamar, or whoever the player is, can focus on basketball. So she's going to love it and we'll make it easy for her." -- Follow Jon Machota on Twitter: @jonmachota
