With the NBA season off and running, Writing Illini will try to provide daily updates on how former Illinois basketball players are faring in the NBA.

As of today, three former Illini – Deron Williams (Utah Jazz), Luther Head (Sacramento Kings) and Brian Cook (Los Angeles Clippers) – are suiting up in the National Basketball Association.

Utah Jazz Point Guard Deron Williams (2002-2005)
