Damian Lillard led the NBA in minutes played last season and conceded his body and game paid the consequences, hoping next year he can stay more fresh down the stretch.
"Sometimes when you're out there (playing) so many minutes, your body can wear down," Lillard said. "So you're not always productive at the highest levels because you might be worn down."
Lillard has endorsed the Portland Trail Blazers' moves this offseason, adding depth to the bench.
"I think I can be more productive than I was," Lillard said.

Last season’s Rookie of the Year, Damian Lillard hopes to play less minutes next season. Lillard averaged 38.6 mpg last season, tied with Kobe Bryant and a shave under the league leader Luol Deng at 38.7.
