The Warriors besting the Clippers, 104-97, Monday wasn’t the only surprise of the night. After the game, Dave Chappelle dropped by Golden State’s locker room, much to the delight of the players. Although, nobody was more delighted than Nate Robinson, who took it upon himself to recite some quotes from Chappelle’s movie Half Baked.
Warriors beat writer Marcus Thompson provides us with video of Chappelle chatting with Stephen Curry after the game. In the background you hear Robinson shouting out lines from Half Baked scenes, such as this and this. Hard to tell if Chappelle sincerely enjoys Robinson’s act or if he’s just being nice.
Also after the game, Chappelle got to shoot some hoops. Curry thinks the comic needs some work. He would be correct.
