Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan finished an alley-oop from Chris Paul with a nasty one-handed dunk that took down Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight during the second quarter of Sunday night's game at the Staples Center.
The play put an exclamation point on the Clippers' crushing 129-97 victory over the Pistons, and to add insult to injury, Knight was called for a foul on the play.

If you were in bed before 11pm last night, you may have missed the dunk of the year-or at least one of the top 3. I don’t usually post things on other teams, but this is worth a look. Deandre Jordan of the Clippers absolutely baptized poor Brandon Knight of Detroit. Twitter exploded with some pretty great tweets. Enjoy the dunk, some of the tweets, and a few pics….
We lost another...
DeAndre Jordan is right where he belongs--as part of the high flying dunk-tastic team affectionately known as Lob City, but officially known as the Los Angeles Clippers.
He proved that on Sunday with this dunk--a powerful, dominating jam that Brandon Knight is going to see in his sleep for at least the next few days.
PLAYA VISTA, Calif. By the time Clippers center DeAndre Jordan got home Sunday night, he had already picked up a few thousand Twitter followers who had seen the thunderous dunk he threw down over Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Knight.
Then he watched it and saw the reactions of his teammates and fans.
I thought they were going to invite me to the White House, Jordan said Monday...
DeAndre Jordan's unbelievable monster slam over Brandon Knight was his entry as the NBA's dunk of the year but — when it gets a nod from LeBron James — you know it is the the front runner.
King James made his nomination of the Los Angeles Clippers center's flooring of the Detroit Pistons defender public on his Twitter account and said, "DeAndre Jordan!!!!...

DeAndre Jordan dunks on Brandon Knight, lays him out to rest
DeAndre Jordan, of Los Angeles Clippers fame, put an exclamation point on his season by dunking (slam dunking, to be exact) on Detroit Pistons guard, Brandon Knight.
It was the kind of situation players fear most — the posterization.
This one is instantly legendary, though.
Take a look for yourself…
LeBron James has called DeAndre Jordan's amazing monster jam over Brandon Knight the "Dunk of the year" and the game-stopping moment has taken on a life of its own. The Staples Center slam, after an alley-oop pass from Clippers teammate Chris Paul, has been debated and shown ad nauseam on ESPN and already immortalized in The New Yorker.
Now you too can get posterized...
Los Angles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan completely disregarded Pistons guard Brandon Knight’s presence Sunday at the Staples Center. Brandon Knight was at the wrong place at the wrong time getting posterized by Jordan on this alley-oop from Chris Paul. Cleanup on aisle 3.
DeAndre Jordan!!!! Dayyyuummmm!! Dunk of the year #littletikeshoop

DeAndre Jordan’s dunk on Pistons guard Brandon Knight not only was an exclamation mark on the Clippers’ 129-97 annihilation of the Pistons Sunday, it may very well be the dunk of the year. The dunk itself happened when Jordan went down the middle of the lane catching the ball midair dunking the ball hard with [...]
The Los Angeles Clippers connected for one of the fiercest alley-oops of the season on Sunday night, and Blake Griffin wasn’t even on the floor. This particular lob came from Chris Paul and was deposited by DeAndre Jordan. Unfortunately for Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Knight, it was done so at his expense.
You have to give Knight credit. There aren’t many situations where...
While Blake Griffin gets all the hype and highlights for his dunks, DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers may have upstaged anything his teammate has ever done with this epic, brutal, hide-yo-kids-hide-yo-wife posterization of Detroit's Brandon Knight...
While Jordan's dunk is one of the highlights of the NBA season, the interwebs quickly turned their attention...
Remember when Blake Griffin posterized Pau Gasol multiple times in one game, well DeAndre Jordan might of just outdone him (and with only one dunk). During the Los Angeles Clippers home game against the Detroit Pistons DeAndre got a lob from CP3 and this was the result: I’ve watched the video at least 20 times, [...]

Brandon Knight of the Detroit Pistons is becoming more and more well-known, but for all the reasons. Last month, during the Rookie vs Sophomore All-Star game, Kyrie Irving hit Knight with the deadly crossover, breaking both of his ankles. And last night against Lob City, the one-two of Chris Paul and Deandre Jordan, absolutely DESTROYED Knight with a...
Yahoo! – For this, he’s a punch line now. He’s a joke. For everyone celebrating (DeAndre) Jordan’s fantastic lob dunk over a guard some 8 inches shorter and 80 pounds lighter, they’ve made Knight an object of ridicule. A widely followed parody account of comedian Kevin Hart tweeted that Jordan had been brought up on “charges of rape & aggravated assault against...
