The Chicago Bulls have begun contract extension talks with Luol Deng.
Deng has one season and $14.3 million remaining on his contract.
Deng's agent had talks with the Bulls after their elimination from the playoffs and plan on resuming discussions in the near future.
The Bulls are conscious of how their roster will be constructed in relation to the luxury tax.

According to a report, the Chicago Bulls are discussing a deal that would send Luol Deng to the Washington Wizards for the No. 3 pick in Thursday's NBA draft.
Despite all the Derrick Rose drama of “will he or won’t he play this year,” the Chicago Bulls did rather well for themselves relying on a collective effort to fill the void left by Rose.
