TORONTO -- Luol Deng sat at his locker in the Chicago Bulls' dressing room with an ice pack on his right thigh. He tweaked his right hamstring while running in the first quarter Wednesday, but he did not let that stop him from playing nearly 48 minutes and hitting the winning 18-foot, pull-up jumper with 3.3 seconds to play in overtime in the Bulls' 107-105 victory over the Raptors. "It was a good play. (Carlos) Boozer faked the screen, his man went with him," Deng said. "I was just patient and just tried to get a good shot." Toronto had one last chance, but Jose Calderon missed a 28-foot 3-point attempt at the buzzer. It was a game the Bulls nearly slip away. They led by as many as 19 points during the third quarter, but Toronto came back to tie the game 100-100 when Amir Johnson made one of two free throws with 12.1 seconds to play in the fourth quarter. "It was tough," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said. "We missed nine free throws...

Carlos Boozer has been considered a constant disappointment since he signed a massive contract with the Chicago Bulls in the summer of 2010. He has showed flashes of former brilliance, but has been horribly inconsistent and has been given constant scrutiny from Bulls’ fans. He was supposed to be the Bulls’ long needed go-to player in the post, but he has failed to live up to...
Last night's Chicago Bulls/Atlanta Hawks game wasn't exactly the greatest game of professional basketball but it did feature an impressive slam dunk by Bulls forward Taj Gibson.Watch as Taj rises up in the third quarter of play to throw down a hammer and get Bulls analyst Stacey King to drop one of his hilarious lines:
posted by Romy AquinoDon't get mad Raps fans. Kevin Durant was on the Dan Patrick Show today and a little Toronto Raptors shoutout came up in the interview. Apparently, when asked what team he wanted to play for growing up, it was the Toronto Raptors. Why? Mostly because of Vince Carter and because he liked those jerseys. Yep, those old school purples with the red dinosaur...
Kyle Lowry dominated in just 15 minutes tonight. The Toronto Raptors point guard sprained his ankle in the first half and wasn't expected to return. But Lowry gutted out the fourth quarter and finished with 21 points (5-7 FG and 7-7 FT), four three-pointers, two assists and a rebound in just 15 minutes in the losing effort.
Lowry's status is up in the air for Wednesday...
The Raptors are having an incredibly disappointing season and look as though they will miss the playoffs, once again. They were expected to fight for the 8th seed in the playoffs after a solid draft, starting the new season healthy, adding point guard Kyle Lowry and getting last year’s top five pick, center Jonas Valanciunas over from Europe. However, horrible defense, injuries...

The Toronto Raptors have arguably been one of the worst NBA franchises in the past decade finishing fourth or less in the Atlantic Division six times since they joined the 2004-2005 seasons and averaging a 0.407 wining percentage. Currently, the team is in last place in the Atlantic division with a 14-25 record–11 games back from first place.
Fans have criticized Toronto’s management...
Raptors rookie Terrence Ross only had four points in Tuesday night’s match up against the Brooklyn Nets. But the reverse putback dunk that was responsible for a pair of those points, was a thing of beauty.
Whose in this year’s dunk contest? Gerald Green? Paul George? WOuld Terrence Ross be someone you want to see on the “All-Star Saturday Night” stage?
