PLAYERS: Deron Williams
TEAMS: Brooklyn Nets

Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams ripped Washington Wizards point guard A.J. Price after the two got into a heated shoving match in the final minute of Brooklyn’s 98-88 preseason victory on Monday night at the Barclays Center.
Both players received a technical after coming together and exchanging some not so kind words.
Williams said Price, who was raised and played his high school basketball on Long Island, kept saying, “I’m home. I’m home.”
“I hate when people just start talking for no reason,” Williams said. “That’s pretty much what he did.
“Maybe he had some boys in the crowd he wanted to impress while he can with the little minutes he’s going to get this year.
“‘It’s my home now.’ I told him that.”
Price, 26, career averages of 6.0 points and 2.0 assists in 14.9 minutes during his three-year career and makes less than a million a season. While Williams makes a little over $17 million after signing his new deal this offseason.
I think Price should check the numbers before yapping away.

NBA 2012-13 preseason: The best players in the Atlantic Division

As part of my NBA preseason rankings I will be ranking the best players by position in each division. Here’s the Atlantic division.PG Rajon Rondo- Boston Celtics- 11.9 pts. 11.7 ast. His offensive game has expanded immensely since coming into the NBA. His jump shot isn’t great, but much more efficient than it used to be. He’s also one of the best passers in the game, and I...

Report: Barclays Center Has Specialized Lighting System for Nets, Typical Lighting for All Other Events

When a fan tunes into a Brooklyn Nets home game on TV, the Nets want them to recognize the venue right away. The stark, colorless palette and herringbone paneling on the hardwood floor will be the most obvious hints that the game in question is being broadcast in high-definition from the Barclays Center, not some passé, nondescript old barn that had ample parking but no "weathered...

Deron Williams Calls out A.J. Price

We saw Deron Williams call out his teammates for not battling and fighting through adversity during a miserable losing season. This is exactly what you want to see out of your star player; inspiring his teammates, and setting an example of toughness. Well, he’s not stopping there. It’s only the preseason, but Deron Williams isn’t going to go off quietly if he’s insulted....

Tweet Deron Williams is the new golden boy of Brooklyn after re-signing a max contract with the Nets over the summer. Apparently Washington Wizards reserve A.J. Nets center Brook Lopez attends Comic Con

The Wall Street Journal followed Brook Lopez when he attended the Comic Con on Sunday, and to answer your initial question, he did not dress up as a comic-book character. Andray Blatche says he chose to wear No. 0 in Brooklyn to remind him of the amount of support he had after he was amnestied by the Wizards

For some odd reason Andray Blatche is still in the NBA. And for some odd, reporters in New York are interested in what Andray Blatche has to say. This is surprising to us because it has been well documented as to what Andray Blatche is all about. He’s about challenging people to fights on Twitter, he’s about hosting “Lapdance Tuesday”, he’s about wearing Uggs, and he...
