Just shut it down D Rose.
No one is going to hold it against you (well, maybe a few people, but they will get over it) if you decide not to play this season.
It is clear, mentally he is not in the right mindframe to come back on the court, so what is the point? The Bulls are unlikely to be a legitimate challenger in the playoffs with or without Rose.
Since it is so late in the season, they might have a better chance without him, since he would be so rusty. Instead of these teases every day, I think it is time to just let it go and come back strong in 2013-14.
Thibs said D. Rose is “close” to a return but still doesn’t quite feel ready. Said only he knows when he’ll be good to go. Won’t speculate.

The Chicago Bulls and knee injuries are almost synonymous. Of course, there's Derrick Rose's no infamous knee injury, but there has also been Taj Gibson's sprained knee. He re-aggravated the injury last night and will go for an MRI to confirm the extent of the injury.Nick Freidell of ESPN Chicago says that the Bulls and Gibson are hoping there is no significant damage...
Brian Scalabrine is a funny guy, with a cool personality. Scalabrine only averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds in 13 minutes during his 11 year NBA career.
Those are not gaudy numbers no, but he was an All Pac 10 performer and honorable mentions All American as a Senior at USC.
The reason I’m explaining this is because when you’re in the NBA and not a star, people seem to get...
Brian Scalabrine is apparently tired of white people challenging him to games of 1-on-1. The reasoning seems to be that no white person, unless they are in the NBA, can beat the White Mamba in a game of basketball. However, as Brian states in his Tweet , “if ur a brother, maybe…but i doubt it.”
Tired of people challenging me 1on1. Let me be direct. If ur white & not N...

The only shots Nate Robinson fears are the kind he takes at the doctor's office.
He doesn't like needles.
He welcomes crunch time.
Robinson showed no fear down the stretch, scoring 12 of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, and Luol Deng finished with 19 after a slow start to lead the Chicago Bulls to an 87-86 victory over the Orlando Magic on Friday night.
As I stood in the lobby of the Chicago Marriott near the hotel bar after the conclusion of the Boys’ All-American game at the United Center, I was reminded of how young the players I had just watched were.
While plenty of media types and adult family members flocked to the bar for drinks and exchanged pleasantries, most of the members of the 2013 McDonald’s All-American class...
The Miami Heat have claimed the number one spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs by amassing an insurmountable lead going into the final stretch of the regular season. The Heat have played well this season but would they still be in the same position had it not been for a couple of key injuries suffered by some of their conference foes? The Chicago Bulls led by Derrick Rose have...
Despite being short-handed for weeks, the Chicago Bulls have remained in contention for home-court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
After earning a key win in that race last time out, the Bulls will try to take advantage of a visit from the lowly Orlando Magic on Friday night.
The Bulls had five players inactive Thursday but managed to earn a 92...
If the Washington Wizards were good and heading to the playoffs, John Wall's comments could have been construed as a competitor hoping his top competition remained off the court. However, the fact that the Wizards are horrible and Wall has nothing to gain by Rose being sidelined makes his comments fell more genuine. According to Nick Friedell of ESPN Chicago, Wall believes...
