The March 15 NBA trade deadline can’t come soon enough. Once it passes, we will be able to stop speculating about Dwight Howard — at least until the offseason. Until then, we will continue to hear rumors about Howard being traded to the Lakers, Bulls, Nets, and others. One player who will be happy when the dust settles is Derrick Rose, who openly admitted on Thursday that he’s sick hearing all the rumors and speculation.
“It’s definitely getting old,” Rose said according to the Chicago Sun-Times. “We’re sick and tired of hearing it. Like I said, the city speaks for itself. Chicago, marketing wise, is a great city. If someone chose to come here, they would definitely fit. I’m cool with the teammates I have.
“I don’t pay attention to it unless someone comes to me — like you all and tell me something. I don’t know what’s going on or who’s talking to who. You all know more than I do.”
Who can blame him? One minute Howard and Kobe Bryant might be interested in playing together and

The Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers and New Jersey Nets are still the three preferred destinations for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard if the team decides to trade him.
But while Howard would prefer to go to one of those places, Orlando could end up shipping him to another team if they get a better package in return.

Howard, who can become an unrestricted free agent after the season, has asked the team to trade him.
Around this time of the year, when the trade deadline is fast approaching, it is very interesting how so many writers have or rush to have their own opinions as to who will be traded where and how. It is like a rat race, with media men trying extremely hard to become the first to come across information. By so doing, some have desperately created information (speculation) and presented...

The Suns pulled off a win against the Mavericks and not quite as surprisingly, the Magic beat the Bulls. Given Dwight Howard’s performance, and those from the Bulls, it’s pretty obvious why the Bulls couldn’t pull it out. It’s not quite as intuitive when looking at the Mavericks box score, but they did start Ian Mahinmi...
