Detroit Sports Nation:
The Detroit Pistons came into tonight's rematch with the Indiana Pacers fresh off a 32 point embarrassment the night before in Indianapolis. The rematch wasn't much better.
The Pistons were missing starting shooting guard Brandon Knight again due to a right knee hyper extension, and Detroit struggled to score without him. Against a stout Indiana defense, the Pistons missed on their first seven shots before Rodney Stuckey knocked one down for the Pistons. When he made the jumper though, the Pacers were up 10-0.
Again Roy Hibbert started it off. He was fouled by Greg Monroe and he hit both free throws. George Hill had a turnaround and a floater, them Hibbert and Paul George had back-to-back layups. Monroe started 0/7 for Detroit before finally getting a layup to go. The Pistons shot a paltry 14% in the first quarter and scored a grand total of nine points. They trailed 16-9 after one.
Will Bynum then hopped off the bench and "Bynumite" was terrific. He score...

Pistons guard, Will Bynum, was ejected during the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s game at The Palace after punching Pacers’ Tyler Hansbrough in the stomach/groin area. Bynum explains the flagrant two foul postgame, via Michigan Live: “It wasn’t (done) intentionally but it kind of happened through the course of the game,” Bynum said in the empty Pistons locker room....
While the Feb. 21 NBA trade deadline was very dull for any professional basketball fan, it was even more bland if you’re a fan of the Detroit Pistons. The case could be made that the Pistons already made a “major” move on Jan. 30 when they traded Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye to Memphis and received Jose Calderon from Toronto in a three-team deal.
However, is that really...

Everyone knew it was coming. As soon as the Detroit Pistons' Will Bynum punched Tyler Hansbrough, the suspension was impending. It has now officially come down. Bynum has been suspended one game by the league for his actions. The shot was as flagrant as they get, but to the referees' credit, they were on top of things. Bynum was given a flagrant-two immediately...

Pistons forward, Charlie Villanueva, is in the fourth year of a 5-year/$35 million contract he signed in the Summer of 2009. The 7-year-veteran can either pick up his $8.5 million player option come June, or decline it, making him an unrestricted free agent, but he made it clear Tuesday that he’ll stay put in Detroit, citing money and his son as the primary reasons.
Doesn’t it seem like Tyler Hansbrough just attracts these kinds of hits?
Hansbrough was on the receiving end of a cheap shot the other night in Detroit, where the Pacers had hung a 20-point lead on the Pistons. He scampered up to the 3-point line and a set a pick, throwing Detroit point guard Will Bynum off his path. Bynum, perturbed to have to work his way around Hansbrough, gave...

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. The Detroit Pistons are happy to be done with the Indiana Pacers.

The NBA announced Sunday that Pistons’ Will Bynum has been suspended 1 game for striking Tyler Hansbrough in the stomach during Saturday’s Pistons/Pacers game. Bynum insists the fourth quarter hit was unintentional, however, the league felt otherwise.
He will serve the suspension without pay on Monday, February 25 vs. the Atlanta Hawks.
Pacers. Pistons. Palace. Punches. The only thing missing was Ron Artest and a flying beer cup (such a waste).
History was nowhere near repeating itself Saturday night when there was a little violence during the Pacers/Pistons game. Rather than seeing a player dash into the stands after an unruly fan
it was one of the Pistons--Will Bynum--giving Pacers player Tyler Hansbrough...
