Did Detroit get Allen Iverson to get Rasheed Wallace a weed-smoking buddy?

Basketball-wise, there is no other explanation other than that Joe Dumars traded away Chauncey Billups and Antonio McDyess for Allen Iverson other than he wanted to get Rasheed Wallace a weed-smoking buddy. This isn't a judgement on weed-smoking; it's quite possible that Wallace and Iverson will have a better time lighting up joints together than playing ball. Business-wise, Joe Dumars better get LeBron James in 2010. Otherwise, he will be stuck with an aging team without a superstar go-to guy or true point guard. No matter if you have free cap room (Wallace and Iverson can be taken off the books after the season), if you don't have the players to fill the void, you're gonna stink. More after the jump.
