It seems that the way the chips are falling in the end there could be very little change in the NBA. Dirk Nowitzki will stay with the Mavericks as he has agreed in principle on a 4 year deal worth around 80 million dollars. Not to many people really thought Dirk would leave the Mavericks anyways.

Joe Johnson has also agreed on a contract and he will continue playing in Atlanta as the Hawks gave him a six year 119 million dollar deal. Now one of the main reasons Johnson resigned with the Hawks no one was going to give him that kind of money. I think he is highly overpaid, but if you can get why not take it.

Paul Pierce will also be signing with his team as he has agreed to a deal with the Boston Celtics. Now the Celtics must work on getting Ray Allen back in the fold to try and make another run at the NBA Championship. It looks like Amare Stoudemire is leaning to signing with the Knicks which will really help them out.

Lebron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwayne Wade have not made their decision just yet. Later this coming week they should make a decision. Out of the three Chris Bosh is the one player who will not be going back to his team. We know that much. These three are still looking at a way they can all play together. I guess we will find out soon enough where they will call home this season.
