We are more than a year away and there is already chirping about if Lebron James will return to the Cleveland Cavaliers when he’s a free agent in 2014. Since we’ve got two die hard Cavs fans on staff I figured I’d go right to the source and see what they think about King James coming back home. Would they welcome him with open arms or would they turn their back on him like he did to them years earlier?

Lebron James potential return to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014 is the newest rumor. That is 18 months of Chris Broussard nagging about what his back channels are saying. Pretty sure I would rather suffer Shaun Livingston’s knee injury then endure that. As a lifelong and die hard Cleveland fan dying for a championship, I should be excited and want him back. In the words of Lee Corso “Not so fast!”
I will begin by taking away nothing from his on the court accomplishments with Cleveland -multiple MVP’s, 60 win seasons, a trip to the NBA finals and so much more. Aside from Mich...

LeBron James gets booed by Hawks fans after dissapointing dunk (Video)
Under most circumstances, a LeBron James dunk even at away arenas would draw a chorus of cheers but earlier tonight, fans in Atlanta weren't exactly pleased with his effort. In the first quarter of play, LeBron had a breakaway dunk thanks to a nice pass from Mario Chalmers but instead of throwing down a highlight dunk, he did simple two-handed jam. That got some fans in Atlanta...

LeBron James Left Handed Bank Shot (GIF)
As you can tell by the 86-67 final score, the Chicago Bulls are no match for the Miami Heat without their star Derrick Rose. LeBron James pretty much shoots over 60% from the field on a nightly basis these days. Last night was no different. James went 11-15 (73%), and started shooting with his left hand just to rub some salt in the wound. This particular shot was after the...

Michael Jordan’s Trainer Says He Would Be Bobcats Best Player Right Now
Michael Jordan just turned 50 and you would have had to have been in a coma to have missed that fact with all the celebration going on.

The question now though is what would MJ do today, right now if he was the starting shooting guard for the...
Video: Peter Holt jokes with Pop, reminds him Spurs title-less since '07
The last time the San Antonio Spurs carried away the NBA crown was in 2007 when they swept LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Since then, the team has been in a drought. They have gotten close like last year when they marched to the Western Conference Finals but came up short against the Thunder and will look to win it all again this season.
Spurs owner Peter Holt recently...
A Typical Argument
When Michael Jordan retired for the third and final time in 2003, discussions began as to who could be the one player to dethrone the greatest of all time. Many players have come through the league since and declared their dominancy; some even considering themselves the “Answer” to the greatest player of all time. No one has come close. Not until recently that is.
With the...
Oregon Zoo Taught an Arthritic Sea Otter to Dunk a Basketball (Video)
Wow, just crazy awesome to watch this video. Meet Eddie who is a geriatric sea otter at the Oregon Zoo. The Zoo had to teach Eddie how to play basketball to help with his arthritis in his elbows. Surprisingly he's really good. I'm guessing he would probably be able to beat LeBron James in a dunk contest, but we all know LeBron is too scared to enter one anyway. ...
Three observations: Heat outclass Hawks in 4th
Three observations from the Miami Heat's runaway win vs. the Hawks on Wednesday night:
1. There are two opposing concepts that come to mind when watching the Heat play lesser competition this season: either the defending NBA champs take their time searching for ways to efficiently attack an opponent such as the Atlanta Hawks ... or LeBron James & Co., simply turn it on and...

CORAL GABLES, Fla. How big have the second-ranked Hurricanes become in Miami?
The Heat are getting ideas from them.
Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade attended the Feb. 9 game between the Miami and North Carolina. When Hurricanes guard Shane Larkin threw a pass off the backboard on a fastbreak to center Kenny Kadji for a dunk, James and Wade went wild. They went crazy again...
James has 24, streaking Heat beat Hawks
ATLANTA (AP) -- The Miami Heat turned to two veterans off the bench to spark a dramatic fourth-quarter turnaround that kept their longest winning streak of the season alive.
Ray Allen and Shane Battier combined for 24 points in the fourth quarter, and the Heat scored the first 13 points of the period to erase Atlanta's 10-point lead and beat the Hawks 103-90 on Wednesday night...
Joe Johnson Makes Two Perfect Last-Second Shots In One Game
There are two types of great buzzer-beaters. The first kind is the end result of a well-executed inbounds play, one that involves screens and misdirection and ends with a shooter getting open just long enough to rise up for a clean shot at the rim. (See: LeBron James saving Cleveland's season in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals). Then there are the buzzer-beaters that...
