The Warriors got seemingly good news on Andrew Bogut’s ailing left ankle on Tuesday from the doctor who operated on it last year:
The Warriors say Dr. Ferkel concurred with the bone bruise assessment on Andrew Bogut’s left ankle. He traveled with the team to Portland.

The Warriors sent the center’s MRI to Ferkel for a second opinion after Bogut exited Thursday’s loss to the Thunder with what the Warriors called a bone bruise in that ankle. The team’s motives for seeking a second opinion weren’t known. Reasons to be worried about further structural damage were warranted—this was the same ankle that’s been surgically repaired (once by the dreaded microfracture surgery) and kept him out for most of the first half of the season (and because throughout his career Bogut has yet to disprove his skeleton is a cardboard cutout).
