Golden State Warriors rookie forward Draymond Green was excited after making the first basket of his NBA career Wednesday night, a three-point shot in the second quarter against the Atlanta Hawks. However, he might have been a little too excited, as officials assessed Green with a technical foul for taunting. Apparently the officials called the technical on Green for something he said. The video shows Green shouting as he backpedals after making the shot, but it didn't seem out of the ordinary. Were the officials overreaching here? Video via Yahoo! Sports. H/T BDL. Was at the game. No one knew what had happened when the official t'd up Draymond. The officiating was some of the worst I have seen in a long time. The two young officials besides Bavetta, were over-reacting all over the place and making themselves the center of attention. As though anyone at the game came to see them. It was pretty pathetic. Plus Klay Thompson needs to learn how to shoot when moving to his left. Fast.
