The San Antonio Spurs may not be the same game in and game out dominant team that they were when they won the NBA Finals in 2007. However they are still a force to be reckoned with on their best days for any opponent, no matter the venue. The Spurs proved that again Sunday at the "New Garden" as they defeated the reigning NBA Champs the Boston Celtics 105-99. Tim Duncan and Matt Bonner each scored 23 points for San Antonio, sending Boston to their second loss in the last three games, and their second consecutive home loss. Thursday night the Celtics fell to the Lakers in overtime.

Great game for the Spurs...and not a fluke either...they are for real....also, will someone please tell Ray Allen to stop whining!
-
Dangerous team that might have their swagger back after falling short last year. It's every other year for the Spurs anyway.

True enough BB...watch out with it being an odd numbered year again...and now we've proven we can beat the beast of the east on their court....I just don't want to hear Ray Allen whine about how close Bowen plays him

He's the only one that can truly slow Ray Allen down. I'm not sure if the Celtics have that same chemistry as last year and they have a ring now, so are they as hungry as they were?
