Oklahoma City Thunder superstar forward Kevin Durant thinks his fellow players should reject the latest offer from NBA owners.

The National Basketball Players Association will meet in New York on Monday to discuss the league's revised proposal.

Durant told Yahoo! Sports that it's a no-brainer as to what the players should do.

“It’s not the one that we want," Durant said. "If it’s not a good deal, I don’t see why we should take it, especially this late.”

NBA commissioner David Stern said the latest offer, if accepted, would allow for a 72-game season beginning on Dec. 15.

The sides held two marathon negotiating sessions before talks against broke off Thursday night without a resolution.

The union will decide Monday whether to put up the latest offer by owners up to a vote by the players.

Durant said if the players reject the latest proposal, he will look into playing overseas - with the provision that he have an opt-out clause in his contract in case of a settlement.

“I’m right on the fence with playing overseas and I’m about to jump over,” Durant said.

The most recent proposal includes a 50-50 split on all basketball-related income, but a number of other issues have led players to say it is unacceptable.

The offer also includes new luxury tax rules, preventing those teams over the cap from doing sign-and-trade deals over a certain period. There is also an offseason drug testing program being proposed as well as a hike in the league’s minimum age to 20 years old.
