Kevin Durant Wears Seattle Supersonics Hat During Oklahoma City Thunder Practice (Photo)

Seattle fans were pretty bummed out when the Supersonics left in 2008, and they are in a bad mood again now that a bid to move the Sacramento Kings up north has run into roadblocks with the NBA. They may not ever get over the sting of seeing Kevin Durant play in Oklahoma City, where he has blossomed into one of the league’s brightest stars for the Thunder, but at least Durant remembers...

Kevin Durant Says He Can Do More To Help Thunder Win

Kevin Durant has done everything to help the Oklahoma City Thunder stay afloat since Russell Westbrook went down with a torn meniscus. LeBron leads All-Defensive team; Marc Gasol 2nd team

Here's something else to potentially frustrate LeBron James when it comes to NBA defensive awards. It was a given the Miami Heat forward would be named to the NBA All-Defensive first team, which became official Monday. But the surprise was Memphis center Marc Gasol, who beat runner-up James out for Defensive Player of the Year, didn't even make the first team. Gasol made...

Marc Gasol Wins The NBA Defensive Player Of The Year Award, But Is Named To The All-NBA Defensive Second Team

Marc Gasol is the 2013 NBA Defensive Player of the Year. Marc Gasol was also named to the 2013 NBA All-Defensive Second Team. Does that make sense to you? The current Defensive Player of the Year, on the NBA All-Defensive Second Team. Really? To quote Stephen A. Smith, that’s just “so disrespectful.” My interpretation of the Defensive Player of the Year award is that it goes...

Kevin Durant Says Serge Ibaka’s Shooting Problems Are ‘All In His Mind’

Serge Ibaka wouldn’t normally be the focal point of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s offensive outlook, but with Russell Westbrook out for the remainder of the playoffs, Ibaka has become a focal point. Add to the equation that in essence, the Thunder chose Ibaka over James Harden last summer, and his lack of offensive punch becomes an even bigger issue. Ibaka is struggling mightily...
