No surprises here. The league released it's All-NBA teams, and of course, Oklahoma City's two superstars made the first and second team. Just losing out on the scoring title, Kevin Durant was still able to manage a first team selection. While Russell Westbrook's curtailed postseason did not stop him from earning a second team selection. Rounding the first team includes Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Chris Paul, and Tim Duncan. The second team included Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, and Tony Parker. A few reactions from looking at the lists: - Both the Thunder and Spurs' big stars were deservingly first and second team selections. It just makes you want to see Oklahoma City-San Antonio in the Western Conference Finals, but there is nothing that can be done now. - The third team included James Harden, who was narrowly defeated by Parker and Westbrook for second team honors. - Serge Ibaka received four points, which is fairly low on the Honorable Mentions list. - Dwight Howard, despite a horrendous first season in Los Angeles, still made the third team. Preventing the likes of big men Brook Lopez, Al Jefferson, Joakim Noah, and Tyson Chandler from earning the center spot for the third team. - LeBron James was the only unanimous selection for the first team, which begs the question, who are the 17 voters that left Durant off their first team ballot? - Not to down Russell Westbrook or Tony Parker, but both players received multiple first place votes. I'm just wondering who they replace, Kobe Bryant or Chris Paul? - David Lee was a third team selection. Maybe I did not watch enough Golden State basketball, but this is a bit of a shock to me. Now for a few Twitter reactions:   Let's just say Curry got gipped twice this season. #AllNBA #AllStar — Connor O'Toole (@thisisconnor10) May 23, 2013 Anyone who voted Blake Griffin on an #AllNBAteam should have their voting privileges revoked — M. Ramirez (@Eighty8Migs) May 23, 2013 Who gave Raymond Felton a vote for the All-NBA team.... — JRSportBrief (@JRSportBrief) May 23, 2013 I think Westbrook was snubbed for Chris Paul on the all-nba team. Chris Paul is over rated in my opinion. — Teddy Lehman (@TedLehman11) May 23, 2013 Duncan wasn't named to an All-NBA team in 2011 or 2012 … but he's first team this year. Again, at 37 years old. — Matthew R Tynan (@Matthew_Tynan) May 23, 2013 *Rudy Gay squinting at his computer screen trying to see if he made an all-NBA team* — netw3rk (@netw3rk) May 23, 2013
