John Wall was long considered to be in the same category of top NBA players like Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade who don’t have visible tattoos. Listen to what the Indiana fans have to say as Dwyane Wade stepped to the free throw line in the 3rd quarter of yesterday's Easter Conference Finals Game 4 (which the Pacers won 99-92): And also from last night's contest (gif via Deadspin): David West is clearly guilty of embellishing here as as well, but LeBron does one of the things he does best; act like he'...
Two games in and the doubters were out in force.
The Heat were tied with the Pacers 1-1 after two games in Miami (and should be down 0-2, they said). The supporting cast was awful. Dwyane Wade was banged up and inconsistent. And Indiana was standing up to -- and running over -- the defending NBA champs.
The Eastern Conference finals were more than a speed bump; they looked like...
Without having to watch the beginning of the game for the formal introductions, even the casual NBA fan recognized a familiar face on the floor Tuesday night during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals. Not those of the world-famous LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, or even Roy Hibbert. The face I’m referring to belonged to infamous NBA referee Joey Crawford.
The fact that Crawford...
Heat fans are so spoiled and feel so entitled it's ridiculous. After having huge free throw diparities in their favor all year, when the game is called somewhat evenly, they pitch a fit. The free throws ended up 27 for Miami and 33 for Indiana. When you consider that 3 of the Pacers free throws were from intentional fouls at the end, it was actually 27-29. A 2 free throw...
