Dwight Howard was ejected during the fourth quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers’ Game 4 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night. The loss resulted in a sweep of LA, and in many ways it was the perfect ending to an embarrassing season filled with unmet expectations.
With Kobe Bryant watching the game from the sidelines and nursing a torn Achilles tendon, many have accused Howard of quitting on the team. The Lakers were trailing by more than 20 points at the time he was booted, and Howard’s ejection essentially eliminated any chance of a comeback. Dwight apologized on Twitter after the game.
“I’m still upset about tonight’s game and the way this season ended,” Howard wrote early Monday morning. “I’m mad I lost my cool. I’m sorry for letting my team and our fans down when they needed me the most. If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year it’s that I need to be more responsible for my actions and learn to breathe! Maybe I will take up yoga and come back calmer or @charliesheen can

Dwight Howard Has a Fifth Baby on the Way?
One thing, should be made clear. Regardless of how you feel about Dwight’s clown like behavior, 6 hidden Baby Mamas, limited post game and wishy-washy comments, he is still, pretty clearly the best center in the NBA.
He definitely has room for improvement, be it mentally and physically, but he is a very good player. He is going to be a max player wherever he plays next year.
Metta World Peace believes that Dwight Howard is getting too much of the heat. “I think we put a little too much pressure on Dwight and as responsible leaders, we gave him a little too much responsibility,” said World Peace. “Kobe (Bryant), Pau (Gasol) and myself, we weren’t responsible enough. We should have been louder [...]

The questions started almost as soon as Dwight Howard was ejected from Sunday's Game Four loss to the Spurs: Will Dwight Howard re-sign with the Lakers?
Of all the players who struggled on the Lakers and led to this disappointing season, Howard was alone with the most to lose. His legacy was not set and would be written in the coming months and years. And in 2012-13, he failed...
Sunday night the L.A. Lakers were swept from the playoffs and went out with a thud. After already losing Kobe Bryant for the season and playing without Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Metta World Peace among others the Lakers hopes rested squarely on the shoulders of Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol.
Now I for one have not been a Howard supporter. I do believe he is very overrated and wouldn’t...
