The Orlando Magic are surely going to miss Dwight Howard’s low-post presence.  A good majority of their offensive sets were run through Howard on the block.  Of course, they’ll also miss his ability to clean the glass (league-leading 14.5 rebounds per game last season) and his shot-blocking prowess (2.15 blocks per game, good for third in the NBA).  But that isn’t what they’ll miss most about their former leader.

Magic forward Glen “Big Baby” Davis told the Orlando Sentinel what the team will miss most about Howard.  ”The thing we’re going to miss most about Dwight is his farting ability.  A great farter,” he contined. “He can fart. He can fart loud — the loudest farts. Silent farts.”

In one response, Davis managed to say the word “fart” six times.  He really sounds broken up about Superman’s superfarts.  As USA Today reminds us (thankfully), in 2009, then-Magic coach Stan Van Gundy had to institute a no-farting rule during press conferences and shoot-arounds.

It remains to be seen if Mike Brown will have to proclaim any flatulence rules in Los Angeles.  But what was once viewed as a very lop-sided deal in the Lakers favor that landed Howard on the west coast might not be such a landslide anymore.
