Orlando residents might not have much NBA basketball to look forward to in the coming weeks, but at least they’ll have some fun from November 11-November 13, during which Magic big man Dwight Howard will be setting up a series of events, including an exhibition game of sorts. Via the Orlando Sentinel: “Promising festivities akin to ‘a Magic All-Star weekend,’ Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard said over Twitter on Saturday that he’s putting together events for Nov. 11-13 that will include an exhibition game that Sunday at UCF. ‘Orlando is gonna love what’s about to happen,’ Howard wrote. A couple of days ago, Howard floated over Twitter the idea of an ‘old-school vs. new-school exhibition game/weekend’ in Orlando, and it appears that he’s following through on his plans. Howard’s manager didn’t immediately return an e-mail message from the Orlando Sentinel. But Howard is offering some details. He mentioned on Twitter that the game will be held on Nov. 13, which is a Sunday.”
