Dwight says a lot of things, but they don’t necessarily come true. At least he has confidence that the Lakers, who have barely shown the ability to put together three or four wins in a row, can string together nine at the end of the season.
Here is his quote via Sports Glory.
“We need every game,” Howard said after practice Monday. “We just got to come out and play with the right intensity, the right effort for 48 minutes and we should win all these games.”
Lakers are hanging on to that 8th spot by a thread, so while they might not need to go 9-0, if they lose too many, they will be watching the playoffs from home.

The magic number for the Laker's hope for the playoffs is now down to 8.
Well, actually 5 and 12.
After basking in what used to be a solid 2-game lead over the Utah Jazz for the 8th and final seed in the west, the Lakers now see themselves back outside looking in.
The Jazz have won their last 4 games while the purple and gold, as well witnessed, gave up 4 of their...
