Now that Dwight Howard is the starting center for the Houston Rockets, he has the talents of incredible post players like Hakeem Olajuwon at his disposal – oh, and Kevin McHale ain’t half bad, either – as Jason Friedman sent these pictures out on Twitter displaying Howard’s work. The post Dwight Howard works out with Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin McHale (Photo) appeared first on The NBA Passionista .

Dwight Howard finally got his wish, when he signed with the Houston Rockets, and became the official face of a franchise that makes him comfortable.
If reports are correct, Howard could have been a Rocket in early 2012 if he simply wouldn’t have opted back in. Ken Berg of CBS Sports is reporting that the Orlando Magic had a deal in place to trade Howard to Houston before the...
August 10 marked the one-year anniversary of the Dwight Howard trade and the official beginning of this current rebuild project. The old Magic team was swept out fairly quickly and a new Magic team was preparing to dawn.
One tool that figured to help the Magic out in this rebuilding effort would have been the very large traded player exception that Rob Hennigan created in the...
The Orlando Magic have let the $17.8 million trade exception they received in the four-team trade that sent Dwight Howard to the Lakers expire. The exception would have allowed the Magic to absorb salary in a potential trade, however, it expired at midnight Sunday – exactly one year from the blockbuster deal.
Hoopsworld’s Steve Kyler explains why the team would’ve let it expire...
One of the more prominent misconceptions from non-believers thrusted upon believers is that of perfection; it’s often believed Christians can not sin. They just can’t. They are to be perfect human beings, without flaws, judgments, or make erroneous decisions, when in fact, even the most devout still sin. People sin. I sin. You sin. My mother [...]The post Keeping The Faith:...
It appears that the Rockets are more than just VERY financially invested in Dwight Howard, they also want him to excel after dropping some big cheese on him. The latest indication of that is Dwight Howard getting some post lessons from no other than Hakeem Olajuwon and coach Kevin McHale. Olajuwon is on the Rockets payroll in order to work “with Rockets interior players each...
One perk of signing with the Houston Rockets as a big man is being able to work out with some of the best post players in NBA history, and Dwight Howard is taking full advantage. The 27-year-old center was seen working out at the Toyota Center Monday with Hall of Famers, Hakeem Olajuwon and Kevin McHale.
Dwight Howard is a defensive beast. On offense, he does not necessarily plow through opposing centers. He relies on his jumping ability to get going inside the paint. Compared to [...]
Last season, most Lakers fans were ready to accept Dwight Howard, but it didn’t seem like he was ready to accept them. Did he ever really want to be a Laker? Did he ever truly embrace the purple and gold? Jim Buss doesn’t think so.
According to Ric Bucher who did a piece on the Buss family for the Hollywood Reporter, Jim feels that Howard was “never really a Laker”:
The Lakers may be the only NBA team whose inner workings can be the stuff of a long expos on a Hollywood entertainment news site, but such is the privilege or plight of what the Buss family has wrought over the past three decades.
On Wednesday, a long piece by Ric Bucher was published on the Hollywood Reporters website. The story details the transition of power within the Buss...
Now that Dwight Howard has officially left LA to join the Houston Rockets, Lakers owner and vice president, Jim Buss, says that the 27-year-old center, who spent just one season with the franchise, was “never really a Laker.”
According to Ric Bucher, Hollywood Report:
Jim insists he’s just following his father’s blueprint, but the Howard situation suggests he missed a page...
Kevin Hart, the successful comedian/actor who stands about 5’4 tall, took a picture with 7’1 former NBA center Shaquille O’Neal this weekend and uploaded it to his Instagram account. As you can see above, there were some serious framing issues involved.
This isn’t the first time Hart has uploaded a picture with a famous NBA torso. Here he is posing with Dwight Howard:
Dwight Howard decided to leave the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason to sign with the Houston Rockets.
"He was never really a Laker," said Jim Buss of Howard. "He was just passing through."
According to those close to Howard, he could have been persuaded to re-sign with the Lakers.
Jeanine Buss believes Howard would have remained with the Lakers if her father...
You know how guys be at the club and after being denied by a woman they are trying to pursue they hit her with the….
“I didn’t want you anyway, you’re ugly.”
I think that pretty much describes these comments by Jim Buss.
“He was never really a Laker,” Jim said to Ric Bucher of The Hollywood Reporter. “He was just passing through.”

It wasn’t much of a secret last season that after losing Dwight Howard, the Orlando Magic were going to be in full-blown rebuilding mode. Their days of being contenders for a Finals spot, or even a playoff position went with Howard to Los Angeles, and though the team made strides toward improvement, with impressive showings from promising young players...
