Fox Sports Southwest:
A 3-minute look at the upcoming Thunder schedule.
Best home stand: The Thunder have a pair of six-game home stands, but the November 18-29 stretch is really good when some of the best in the West come through Oklahoma City. The five-game stand starts with Denver and then the Clippers. There's Utah, San Antonio and then Golden State. That's some serious playoff power.
Longest road trip: four games, April 4-9. It's not that long and not the toughest, either. Starting with the April 4 game at Houston, the Thunder go from there to Phoenix, Sacramento and finish at the Clippers. Sure, Houston and the Clippers are tough, but a four-game road trip is certainly manageable, especially considering the opponents of the middle two games.
Back-to-backs: The Thunder play 15 of them this season, the same number as a year ago.
Most-difficult back-to-back: April 3-4 vs. San Antonio and at Houston.
First back-to-back of the season: Nov. 13-14 at the Clippers and at Golden State.
First game of the season: Oct. 30 at Utah
First home game of the season: Nov. 3, vs. Phoenix
Last home game of the season: April 16 vs. Detroit
Sunday special: The Thunder play 15 home games on Sundays, including seven in a row in a November through January stretch.
In demand: The Thunder play 24 games on either ESPN, ABC, TNT or TBS. That's a lot of interest for a team that's not the Lakers or Knicks.
Best road games
3. Thunder at Knicks, Dec. 25: Nothing like a national ABC television game to check out while opening presents. The NBA owns Christmas Day and the Thunder have become a staple. Plus, any excuse to see Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony put on a scoring display is always fun.
2. Thunder at Bulls, March 17: St. Patrick's Day game on ESPN and Derrick Rose? Sounds like a pretty good night, considering we haven't seen what Rose can do in more than a season. Should be a great matchup.
1. Thunder at Heat, Jan. 29: So, how many losses is it now in a row against Miami? Wonder if this will be the one where Oklahoma City figures it out. The Thunder beat Miami in Game 1 of the 2012 Finals. Remember that? Since then, it's been six losses in a row.
Best home games
3. Heat at Thunder, Feb. 20: Another nationally televised game on a Thursday night. Doesn't get better than LeBron and D-Wade against Durant and Russ.
2. Spurs at Thunder, April 3: Everyone is big on Houston making a move this season in the West, and the Rockets very well might, but you have to figure if it's April, the Spurs are in the mix. The last of the four regular-season meetings is this one, a Thursday night TNT matchup.
1. Rockets at Thunder, Dec. 29: James Harden, Dwight Howard, the 2013 playoffs. Plenty of storylines as Houston comes to town for the first meeting between the two teams this season.

Poor Kevin Durant. The Oklahoma City Thunder superstar may have money and fame. He may have all the accolades, respect and admiration from his NBA peers and fans alike, but when he shows up at a streetball game in a new Nike commercial, all he really wants is a cool nickname. You know, just like […]The post Cool nicknames abound at streetball game, Kevin Durant is called ‘Kevin’...
For his rookie season, Jeremy Lamb bounced back and forth between the NBA and the D-League. On Oklahoma City's talented roster, there was not much space for the talented combo wing player from Connecticut.
Lamb had shown in college that he could be a good scorer and a great creator of shots for others. Doing it at the NBA level, in pressure situations no less, was the question...
Add these two to the list of Beliebers (excuse me while I throw up in my mouth)… Justin Bieber posted this pic via Instagram of Kevin Durant and Tyson Chandler hanging out with him for some god-awful reason...
THE ODD COUPLE
Kevin Durant was spotted working out Tuesday with Kevin Love at the Lakers training facility in El Segundo, but he spent his night a little differently. Justin Bieber uploaded a photo to Instagram of himself hanging out with the Thunder star and Tyson Chandler at his LA home.
Kevin Durant and James Harden finally admitted what we already know, they can’t live without each other.
No really, Durant and Harden sat down with GRANTLAND, to discuss Nike, how it felt when the Thunder’s big three got broken up, and how they truly miss playing together.
It makes you wonder if the Thunder picked the wrong guard to go forward with in the future.
Would a Harden...
Kevin Durant is a Belieberor is he?
Tuesday, singer Justin Bieber posted a photo of himself with the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar, New York Knick Tyson Chandler and "hipster" pastor Carl Lentz.
In the caption, the "Boyfriend" singer says he's "chillin at home" with the NBA stars. The only problem, Durant doesn't seem all that thrilled about...
Look, if you know anything about Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, we hope that you know he’s one hell of fine basketball player. Repping our country in last year’s Olympics to win a gold medal, earning three-straight All-Star Game nods and, paired up with teammate Kevin Durant, forming one of the best young […]
The ad wizards over at Nike have put together some classic commercials over the years and the latest one stars Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant.
The name of the commercial is called “Nicknames” and well, Kevin’s needs a little bit of work:
Earlier this week on Sunday night, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder returned to Seattle to play in Jamal Crawford’s Pro-Am. It was the first time he played basketball in Seattle since his rookie season in 2008, and he more than showed up. Durant put on a show for his Seattle fans, dropping 63 points (on 62 shots).
Via the AP:
“I just want to say I miss you guys,” Durant...
And by “Kevin Durant looks happy to pose for a photo with a shirtless Justin Bieber,” I of course mean he looks supremely annoyed. Somehow, Justin Bieber managed to ingratiate himself to a sufficient degree with someone’s handlers that Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant and the New York Knicks’ Tyson Chandler agreed to pose […]The post Kevin Durant looks real...
Yesterday, the fine folks over at Grantland Network released the below interview which featured former Oklahoma City Thunder teammates James Harden and Kevin Durant.
In the short clip, KD and James talk about the challenges in their “new” relationship after Harden decided to sign with the Houston Rockets in a trade:
Kids, that’s why long-distance relationships don’t work!
Russell Westbrook took social media by storm when he showed up wearing a very interesting ensemble. The Thunder star joined actress Michelle Rodriguez of Fast & Furious 6 on stage to introduce performer Demi Lovato during the telecast.
