Eric Bledsoe posted another great line in fill-in duty for Chris Paul Tuesday night in the Clippers' 117-109 win against the Houston Rockets.
Bledsoe scored 19 points, knocked down a three, grabbed seven rebounds, dished five assists and swiped two balls. He shot 7-of-12 from the field and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line. He's deserving of an add while CP3 sits with a kneecap injury -- and even more deserving of a stash in keeper leagues (the Clippers are likely to hold onto him this season as insurance if Paul bolts in free agency).
Many league execs believe he'd start for half the teams in the league. That seems like a fair assessment -- one that calls to mind Darren Collison filling in for Paul in New Orleans. Bledsoe appears to have far more potential, which could be reached in the 2013-14 season.
