Sunday ESPN issued an apology on their website for two racial incidents directed towards New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin. ESPN fired the writer responsible for creating a headline that read "***** In the Armor" on their website. The image was posted for 35 minutes on Saturday morning before being taken down. ESPN also suspened anchor Max Bretos who on Wednesday while interviewing Knicks television analyst Walt Frazierasked the question " "If there is a ***** in the armor, where can Lin improve his game?"

ESPN announced Sunday that it had suspended one person and fired another for using an ethnic slur last week in reference to New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin.
