Scot Pollard was a decent college player at a big-time program at Kansas University. He parlayed his decent college career into an eleven year NBA gig where he was known more for his circus-like appearances than his post play.
The biggest blip on Pollard's NBA career radar occurred in 2007 when, during a 20-second timeout, he looked directly into the camera and said, "hey kids, do drugs." He later apologized.
Pollard put that asset to work again when he dissed (former) Lakers coach Phil Jackson. He told Grant Napear of KHTK of Sacramento that Jackson is overrated:
