     We are quickly approaching the anniversary of the infamous David Lee trade – it will soon be 6 months. A fan favorite in New York, Lee was by far the Knicks’ best player last season, and even a top player in the NBA. Last February, Lee’s talents were recognized as he was selected to represent the Eastern Conference in the 2010 All Star Game in Cowboys Stadium. Lee became the first Knick to make the all star team since Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell made it back in 2001. David Lee had earned the nickname “Mr. Double Double” during his tenure with the Knicks, and it actually became normal for him to post one every single game – when he didn’t, it was a surprise. Lee averaged a double-double in 3 seasons with the Knicks and had his two best seasons under Coach Mike D’Antoni. I suppose you can say he flourished in the “run and gun” system that D’Antoni employs, with his best season of 20.2 points and 11.7 rebound...
