When Dwight Howard announced he was shunning the Lakers and signing with the Houston Rockets, many people took this as a sign that Howard never felt comfortable in the spotlight in Los Angeles. Shaquille O’Neal, who himself played for the Lakers, was one of those who felt this way, saying that he expected Howard to sign with the Rockets, because, as Shaq put it so eloquently, it “was a safe move for him to go to a little town like Houston. That’s right, little town. I said it.” Naturally this would have upset many a Houston resident, who take pride in their not so little town, but this young Rockets fan, so full of piss and vinegar, is now the unofficial spokesperson for the city of Houston, after going off on O’Neal in this terrific rant… In case you couldn’t make out what the kid was yelling, here’s what he had to say to Shaq… “Dwight Howard is the best center in the league. Shaq! Shaq! I want to say one thing to you Shaq! Don’t ever disrespect Houston like that again! Don’t ever disrespect Houston! H-Town baby!” So much rage for such a little man. Shaq better check himself next time he’s in Houston, because if he runs into this kid he’s gonna end up with some very messed up ankles.
