In wake of the NBA Finals, Mickael Pietrus has decided that wearing Kobe Bryant's shoes would be treason. Instead, Pietrus says he will wear Jordan shoes. This from ESPN.com - "I have [Kobe shoes ] at my house, but I'm going to play with Michael Jordan shoes," Pietrus said, the newspaper reported.
Other Finals stories are Kobe Bryant's interview with Magic Johnson saying that it wasn't really Shaq that won him those few championships, it was a collaborative effort with D-Fish, Horry, and others. Shaq responded on his Twitter by saying, "What kobe said to magic is true, I wouldn't of won it without him fish and robert horry, and b shaw and fox and everybody dynasty baby".
Another story making headlines is the return of point guard Jameer Nelson. A definite All-Star before he go injured, but do the Magic want to take a risk and throw him in the line-up? I would have him come off the bench for about 10-12 minutes, if he's healthy enough to do that. I would not start him however. The Lakers are definite favorites, and maybe the Magic want to try anything they can, but they have been pretty damn impressive with Rafer Alston. I would pull a Stephon Marbury and just play him limited minutes, unless he starts to spark, then maybe start him.
