Found December 29, 2008 on LA Ball Talk:
There is truly only one way to describe the game against the Golden State Warriors: Priceless The adventure started early in the game as Pau Gasol had his back to the basket with the ball about 4 feet out on the right wing. The double team came early he looked over his shoulder and saw Bynum [...]

  • Now, per your articles since 12/25, have the "damn conviction" all the way through season, that the Lakers are the favorite now...LA Fans, cannot waver anymore this year...a Championship is expected now...Boston and Cleveland are 1A, and 2...see you Feb. 5th
  • I really didnt know that ONE game on Christmas Day could end up piling up all these, "LA CHAMPS OF 09" articles... Its ridiculous... Ever since that ONE game, things seemed to have changed. Last time I checked, its still ONLY december...
  • I love D-fish. Always have and always will!! I'm so glad to see him back in a Lakers unform. He is such a professional on and off the court. It's good to see the Lakers getting their momentum back.
  • Fisher is great but Vujacic is really starting to show great signs of progress. Hopefully he continues to progress and gets some playing time at the point guard position. He is a big asset to this team.
  • Sasha is actually pretty good handling the rock. But, I still have nightmares of him getting schooled at the hoop 1 on 1 and just letting guys walk by him in slow mo. A guy named Sasha will never be good at defense.
  • come on speedwell... Sasha is the 2nd best defender on this team besides Kobe. He plays intensely and passionately, you can't hold that against the guy. defense is all about heart and hard work, he has both.
  • 2nd best defender? Here's a few things to mull over. Sasha is best at weak side help D. He is not exactly known as a "lockdown" type of player. If Sasha were the 2nd best defender, he would be getting more than 15 minutes a game. I consider Fish and Ariza both better defenders than Sasha. I think most people would agree that their defense is more fundamentally sound. Granted, Fish will get tore up by any of the premier point guards in this league, but hey, so would the other 25 starting point guards in the NBA. So next time, before you throw your "thumbs down" on me, with your partisan opinions, you can stop juggling Sasha's nuts and admit that he ain't all that.

If by "intensely and passionately" you mean flopping, holding and crying about fouls, yeah I agree, he has mastered that. Sasha is an "ok" player, you can see from my original comment I actually gave him a compliment.

And finally, apparently you lack humor. The kid has long hair, he's pretty, and his name is Sasha. He's soft like cotton, and will never be good at defense. Read this again. Not good. That doesn't mean bad. But it doesn't mean good.
