There is no denying that Tyson Chandler was absolutely instrumental in helping the Mavericks win their first ever NBA Championship last season. Most considered the dominating big man to be the missing piece that the Mavs had been lacking over the last several years.
However, this summer, it was announced that Chandler, then a free agent, would be leaving Dallas and heading to New York to play for the Knicks.
