Fabricio Oberto, a member of the 2007 NBA champion San Antonio Spurs, is making a return to the basketball court. The last time NBA fans saw him as a member of the Portland Trailblazers when he was forced to retire due to a heart arrhythmia. He made a return to play in the FIBA Americas Championship where Argentina defeated Brazil, but couldn't participate in the 2012 London Olympics due to personal issues. According to Analisisdigital.ar, he's returning to Atenas de Cordoba to finish the remainder of their 2012-2013 season.  The website describes it as "returning to his first love" because Oberto had a trial run with the club at the age of 17 and played professionally there the year after -- Atenas de Cordoba. With Oberto returning to his Argentinean roots, it's sure to be an emotional return for Fabricio Oberto, who was a fan favorite with the Spurs his whole tenure with the club with his hustle, passion, and energy on the court.
