I miss this yesterday, but everyone should check out Tom Ziller's Purity Scale for point guards at SB Nation. It shows that not being a pure point guard isn't really a bad thing and that Andre Miller is never as pure as one might imagine.
Jay Aych at Painted Area is looking at the idea of Detlef Schrempf and Rik Smits being considered for the basketball HOF. Personally, the international player is probably the trickiest HOF candidate to decide. Guys like Tony Parker are going to finish with really good NBA careers to go along with their international influence, what it means to their respective countries and their international play tacked on top of everything. But guys like Schrempf and Smits just haven't done enough overall in my mind to warrant getting in.
