Beyond The Buzzer:
After the Nets outscored the Heat 29-19 to make it 49-49 at the half, the Heat walked over the the Nets, 36-14, in the third.
“It’s typical Nets basketball. We don’t play together, turnovers and we don’t execute offensively and defensively,” Wallace said.
And in their only three games against the Heat this season they have lost by 30, 13 and 20 points.
“We didn’t actually lose in those games. We got our (butts) kicked in all three games,” Wallace said. “They dominated us.
“Any sport you measure yourself against the champions and it’s been embarrassing all three times,” Wallace said.

On the surface, it would appear that firing Avery Johnson was exactly what the Brooklyn Nets needed. The former coach was let go at the end of December, and the team has gone 13-4 since interim head coach PJ Carlesimo took over. However, LeBron James feels that the improvement has more to do with effort than it does coaching style. “They’re playing like they want to play for...
The Brooklyn Nets — or rather Reggie Evans — was pumping the Brooklyn Nets up to be more than adequate opposition for the defending world champions. We all know how the story ends, Miami blew out Brooklyn Wednesday night, simply embarrassed them. In the process, Brooklyn allowed Mario Chalmers to rebound and assist a shot while sitting [...]The post Mario Chalmer Snags A Rebound...
At long last, Brooklyn Nets player of note Kris Humphries is returning to the world of comedy. You may remember him from his previous attempts at being funny, which include Funny Or Die’s ‘Kris Humphries Is A Douchebag’ and that time his wife got impregnated by Kanye West.Humphries joins James Harden in a Super Bowl ad for Foot Locker that leaked (cough) today. Here’s the...
Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez has been chosen to replace the injured Rajon Rondo on the Eastern Conference All-Star team.
Commissioner David Stern on Wednesday selected Lopez, who is averaging 18.6 points and 7.3 rebounds for the second-place Nets.
Rondo, the Boston Celtics point guard who was voted to start the Feb. 17 game in Houston, has a torn ACL. The East head coach, likely...
Brooklyn Nets Brook Lopez may finally be getting the respect he deserves. ESPN New York is reporting that Lopez will replace injured Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo on the All Star team.

Nets guard Joe Johnson broke out his handles Wednesday night when his team faced off against the Miami Heat. Check out this video of Joe going one-on-one against Chris Bosh and crossing him over.
The Nets ultimately got blown out on their home court, 105-85.
While we’re on the subject of Joe Johnson, let’s check out his game day ensemble. Joe opted to rock camo pants, Jordans...
Kris Humphries made me almost spit out my coffee in this new Foot Locker spot. The big fella may get a ton of grief for his role in the Kim Kardashian fiasco, but this almost totally redeems himself. James Harden lets folks know that if they don’t know Foot Locker is bringing the heat that they could be banished to Kris Humphries’ entourage, just like poor Maurice. Good stuff...
I have to say, this Foot Locker commercial featuring James Harden and Kris Humphries is everything! Imagine you want to hand with the “cool kids” which crew would be a better look for you?

Brook Lopez scored 20 points through three quarters, then the Brooklyn Nets turned to their bench to beat the short-handed Chicago Bulls 93-89 on Friday night.
Andray Blatche scored all of his 11 points in the fourth quarter and MarShon Brooks had nine of his 13 as the reserves scored the Nets' first 20 points. A starter didn't score until Joe Johnson's 3-pointer gave...
Brooklyn Nets forward and flopper/cheap shot artist extraordinaire Reggie Evans may be a great rebounder, but he’s also one of the NBA’s most annoying players. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that he’d say something dumb about LeBron James and the defending champion Miami Heat, who will make their Barclay’s Center debut Wednesday night:
“It doesn’t prove nothing...
Which is why he agreed to film this commercial. Well-played!
Khloe Kardashian appeared on VH1′s “Watch What Happens Live” Thursday night and shared her thoughts on Kim’s estranged husband Kris Humphries.
“It just needs to get over already! He’s, in my opinion, delusional, I don’t know why he’s asking for anything? He’s fame-hungry, in my opinion. He wants money . . . I just think everything he’s doing is so — it’s...
Many people thought Lopez should have been an All Star to begin with.
