It has been a long time since Gilbert Arenas has been called ‘Hibachi’ but this might be somewhat appropriate. The former NBA guard, who last played with the Memphis Grizzlies, was arrested by California Highway Patrol after being pulled over for speeding and the police finding enough fireworks in his vehicle that the LAPD bomb squad was called to the scene. From TMZ: We’re told Arenas was arrested and will be booked for possession of illegal fireworks, and cited for speeding — he was allegedly doing 80 mph — and driving without a license. HIBACHI!!!!!! According to the TMZ report, there were at least 20 boxes of illegal fireworks, but that number could be higher. This isn’t Arenas’ first brush with the law over things that involve ‘firing.’ He was busted for gun possession while he was still playing with the Washington Wizards. He actually had four with him. HIBACHI!!!!
