As the 2012 NBA All-Star game approaches and if the Golden State Warriors are serious about making the playoffs, the rumored trade for New Orleans Hornets center Chris Kaman should be made as soon as possible for the Warriors. Starting center Andris Biedrins and backup Ekpe Udoh offer very little offensively and what hurt the Warriors the most was the season ending injury to Kwame Brown. Brown in the nine games he played in averaged 6.3 points and 6.3 rebounds. Biedrins who has had his minutes limited for various reasons and in 25 games he’s averaging 2.4 points and 4.6 rebounds and Udoh in 28 games is averaging 4 points and 3.5 rebounds. With the limited production from the center position it’s not surprising the Warriors have been unable to close out games decided by three points or less. The team’s record currently stands at 1-6 in those types of games and one issue has been being able to grab the big rebound and the other is the lack of offense. In the Warriors...
