Bucks Hoops:
The Toronto Raptors came into the game Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks wanting to play spoiler, and put the Bucks another game behind the Indiana Pacers and Charlotte Bobcats for the 8th playoff spot.
The Bucks have not lost to the Raptors this season, and that was on the mind of some of the Raptors players. Raptors guard Jose Calderon was quoted after Toronto’s morning shoot around saying,”We try to finish as strong as possible, and we owe this team. They beat us twice and we will try to win tonight.”
All season long with the absence of All-Star Michael Redd, (Redd is back but not playing many minutes) it’s been someone different stepping up for Scott Skiles, and the Milwaukee Bucks. Wednesday night it was Drew Gooden’s turn. Gooden was playing in just his second game since late January, after having a case of plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Gooden hit five of his first seven shots, and finished the game with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
