Grant Hill has a great amount of gratitude towards the Phoenix Suns organization, as they gave him a second shot at an NBA career, after injuries derailed what appeared to be one that was destined for greatness. After missing most of the games he was under contract for with the Orlando Magic, following a superstar start in Detroit, Hill went to the Suns with very little fanfare. He then put together a solid 5 seasons, where he only missed a handful of games. He no longer was the Mr. Do-it-all that he was with the Pistons, but he played well for them, helping them reach the playoffs. He actually was a better shooter, though his scoring average was not what it once was. Hill joined the Clippers this past year and became the oldest active player at the age of 40. Hill may be returning to the Suns soon, but he won’t be lacing them up on the court, but settling into their offices.
